(AKA Ubiquinone)
The Ikon can says: "greatly assists in the transportation in the blood stream".
A brief search on the web yields that Co-enzyme Q10 is "a valuable
antioxidant for lipid membranes". Sure, whatever...
Ginkgo Biloba
Ingredient of: Ikon
Surprisingly, not a lost Hobbit from the Lord of the Rings. Ikon says this is "shown to improve circulation, especially to the brain, aiding concentration & memory". A web search tells us it relieves tension and anxiety, is a mood/energy booster, and it counteracts the effects of ageing. Righto.
Ginseng
Ingredient of: Lift Plus, Ikon, Red Eye Plus
It's to make you mellow, reduce stress and stuff.
Glucuronolactone
Ingredient of: Red Bull, V, Top Secret, Red Eye Gold, Black Stallion, Bull Rush
cleanses the liver (apparently) Yum.
Guarana
Ingredient of: V, Lift Plus, Ikon, Top Secret, Red Eye Gold, Black Stallion, Dirty Dog, Proton, Red Eye Plus
(AKA "gurana") increases mental alertness. This is because guarana contains "guaranine", which is another name for caffeine. Gosh.
Inositol
Ingredient of: Red Bull, V, Ikon, Top Secret, Black Stallion, Bull Rush
This fearsome sounding additive is apparently an antidepressant, can prevent hair loss, and reduce high cholesterol.
Nicotinamide
Ingredient of: Ikon
This is the chemical cousin of niacin - antioxidant and enzyme
facilitator (but can it do windows?)
Ikon says it: "Energizes the body and brain, improves alertness and
concentration, balances mood and emotions" but not my chequebook.
Sodium Citrate
Ingredient of: Red Bull
Used to prevent blood clotting outside the body. Yummy, eh?
Taurine
Ingredient of: Red Bull, V, Ikon, Top Secret, Red Eye Gold, Black Stallion, Proton, Red Eye Plus, Bull Rush
This reduces blood pressure, heart problems and promotes eye health. Though unfortunately I still need glasses.
